Prairie Sk-eyes Optometry is looking for an optometric assistant to join our team. No experience is required, however previous experience in a medical field or in office administration is an asset. There will be on the job training and potential for sponsored courses to up your game and wage!

📆 We are looking for someone to work full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 hour shifts ranging from 8:30-6:00. No weekends, no evenings, and no stat holidays. We are also closed for extra days over Christmas holidays to spend quality time with our families.
🤓 Your role may include, but is not limited to:
- Check in patients, run through insurance, book appointments, answer phone calls and take payments
- Pre-test patients before they see the doctor
- Help patients with eyeglasses frame and lens selection.
- Dispense and sell glasses 👓
- Contact lens teaching
- Keep the office organized and clean
- Be able to troubleshoot independently
- Work well in a team environment!

- You MUST be good with people!
- You need to be able to help patients of all ages and of all backgrounds
- Have a positive attitude and mindset
- Organization and attention to detail is key so you must be able to multi-task
- Be professional yet enthusiastic
- Respond well to constructive criticism
💲 Compensation: 💲
Starting at $19.00/hour, with higher compensation available based on experience and qualifications. And of course, excellent vision care and eyewear perks! 👓
