The navel is not just a physical point in the body, but a core energetic center connecting us to the life sustaining elements. When we are in the mother’s womb, this is the source of all nutrients for development.

When this energy of the center is balanced we experience pleasure, harmony, creativity, vitality and tolerance. When this center is imbalanced we can experience confusion, over indulgence in s*x, purposelessnes, envy and over-possessiveness.

This center is governed by the water element. Yoga postures, energy healing, and meditative awareness help heal, and harmonize this point.

Let’s try sincerely to live each day with an attitude of gratitude—free of fear and anger, doing our work with honesty, and being respectful of our parents, teachers, and all beings. When we do this, the three golden drops of forgiveness, surrender, and bliss are received into our consciousness.
