Nature is one of our greatest teachers.

The tides remind us to honour our rhythms. The land teaches us that growth happens through relationship. The sky invites us to lift our gaze, trust, and remember that we are part of something greater than ourselves.

What if the wisdom we seek isn’t somewhere out there, but already woven into the natural world, and within us?

Tomorrow I’ll be sharing an ancient Irish teaching known as the Three Cauldrons, a beautiful map of body, heart, and spirit inspired by the realms of Sea, Land, and Sky.

Together we’ll explore how these inner landscapes influence our vitality, belonging, intuition, and connection to the living world.

I’d love to have you join me for this free event! https://gather.innateecology.ca/

Juneteenth. Why does it matter to a Canadian woman like me?

Because my story didn’t begin in Canada.

My ancestors were enslaved. And while Juneteenth marked the end of slavery for many, freedom was still far from equal. Racism, violence, and Jim Crow laws continued to shape lives long after emancipation.

So generations later, many Black families journeyed north in search of something more - a chance to build a life with greater freedom, dignity, and opportunity.

My family was among them.

In 1910, they helped establish Amber Valley, Alberta, one of Canada’s most significant Black pioneer communities. They faced harsh winters, discrimination, and countless challenges, yet they persevered.

Today, I carry that legacy with pride.

The gentleman holding the baby on this Canada Post stamp is my Great-Great-Grandfather, Jordan Murphy & his grandchildren. Seeing my family’s story honoured in this way is both humbling and powerful.

So yes, I celebrate Juneteenth!

I celebrate the courage of those who refused to give up. Those who crossed borders, built communities, and created opportunities for future generations.

I honour them today. I honor them every day.

Yesterday, after visiting my friend , this is what greeted me in the sky beside the waxing crescent moon.

The first thing I saw was a dolphin. ☁️

What’s interesting is that earlier that evening, my friend had cards laid out for us, and the card I drew showed two dolphins riding a wave with a fairy dancing above them. The message? Go with the flow.

Now, I’ve always been someone who talks about going with the flow, but lately that has felt more like hanging on and hoping for the best than actually enjoying the ride. 🫣

The dolphins reminded me of something different… to lean into trust with a little more joy. Not just surviving the waves, but playing with them.

Maybe that’s the invitation right now: to stop gripping so tightly and ride the wave with a little more wonder, a little more laughter, and a little more faith that good things are finding their way to us.

Just thought I’d share.

And whether you see a dolphin, a dragon, a fairy, or something else entirely… perhaps we could all use a little more play and a little less fear.

Many of us who walk an Earth-honouring path are gathering over the Solstice this week, and I’d love to invite you to join us!

I’m honoured to be one of 20 speakers in the Embodied Ecology Live Solstice Series, with .ecology, a free online summit taking place June 18–24.

Together, we’ll explore nature connection, embodiment, creativity, ritual, grief, healing, animism, belonging, and what it means to restore our relationship with the living world.

My session, The Three Cauldrons Journey: Returning to Sea, Land & Sky, is inspired by an ancient Irish wisdom teaching that reminds us we are not separate from nature. Through the wisdom of Sea, Land, and Sky, we’ll explore how to reconnect with ourselves, spirit, and the living Earth.

✨ Free to attend
✨ 20 inspiring speakers
✨ Online from anywhere in the world

I hope you’ll join us!

I don’t have political answers.

I just know that hearing someone may become the world’s first trillionaire made me pause and wonder what we’ve come to value as a society.

To me, wealth has always looked more like community, kindness, belonging, and making sure no one gets left behind.

Perhaps it’s time to ask better questions.

Not from a place of blame.
From a place of awareness.

I’ve been sitting with a thought lately. I’ve been doing energy work for over twenty years now. Some seasons deeply immersed in it, other seasons stepping back and living life, learning through my own joys, losses, questions, and becoming.

And if I’m honest, the way I see healing has changed.

When I first began, I think I believed healing was something that happened through me, or perhaps something Spirit did for someone. But these days, I see it differently....

The older I get, the more I realize that I don’t heal anyone. Spirit doesn’t “fix” anyone. The deepest healing I’ve witnessed has always come from within the person themselves.

From the moment they choose to listen to their own heart.

The moment they become willing to see a new possibility.

The moment they decide to take one small step toward themselves.

My role has become less about doing and more about holding space. Offering a cup of tea. A listening ear. A different perspective. A reminder that there may be another way of seeing what they’re walking through. And then trusting their soul to do what it knows how to do.✨

Because the truth is, you don’t need me. You never did. But sometimes we all need someone to sit beside us for a while. Someone to hold the lantern when the path feels dark. Someone to remind us that the wisdom we’re searching for may already be waiting within us.

As I stand on the edge of fifty, that’s the kind of healing work that feels true to me now - less fixing.

More remembering.
Fewer answers.
More trust.💖
