In case you are unsure of the Questions or comments for Premier Ford:

I am ashamed for a government that not only has failed a large portion of its citizens by making assumptions that everyone can get to a large centralized public healthcare facility or wait to see a Doctor not currently accepting patients. Shame on you for not being a premier that truly cares about all of the residents of Ontario regardless of financial standing.
You have built new hospitals but at what cost to small rural communities and their small community hospitals. How many small hospitals have been closed and how many families have not been able to receive the immediate access to care that would otherwise have been available for their well being. We need to really put people’s care first. The health teams need to be revisited and they cannot replace full service care received in our local hospitals.
Urgent Care available 24/7 is essential and must be available where long wait times and offload is an issue to so many large centralized hospitals. How much public money has gone into funding private clinics, even those currently accepting OHIP cards, and how many hospitals have operating rooms and diagnostic equipment sitting idle. How many staff have been lost in the last 6 months to try to bring costs down and how many Hospital Boards have seen an increase in their wages while front line staff are being laid off or severanced off.

The problem isn’t public health care. The problem is that the Ford government is defunding & dismantling our public hospitals and other services in order to privatize them.

Please come out and share this as widely as possible. Ontarians are coming in on VIA and GO trains from all over the province to join the giant march and protest.

THURSDAY, MAY 28: at 12 pm noon, we will gather outside Union Station for a rally then march to Queen's Park for a giant protest outside the Ontario Legislature. Groups will be joining in along the way.
