Happy Saturday Friends! 🙂

Yesterday, I went on my first outing with my human. She took me to the vet where I was told what a wonderful and calm puppy I am. At just a little over 10 weeks old, I now weigh 9.1kg (which is 20 pounds!) Apparently, I’m going to be a very big girl!

Good morning, friends! 🐾

I’ve been home with my person for almost a week now, and as of yesterday, I am officially 10 weeks old!

Since I’m still waiting for the rest of my vaccines before I can go on big adventures, I’ve spent this past week settling into my new home and meeting the neighbours. I’ve already made so many great new friends!

Here are a few pictures from our first week together. We’ve been hard at work on my training—learning to heel on walks, practice “watch me,” leave things I’m not supposed to have, and get used to new sounds (like the loud construction behind our building!). When I’m not training, my person taught me how to do a puzzle, we play ball and tug, and, of course, we take plenty of cozy snuggle naps.

I can’t wait to keep sharing our adventures with you!💜💜

Happy Saturday Friends,
A little over 24 hours ago I completed my really long car ride to get home to my human. We have already bonded so well and I want to follow her wherever she goes.

I can’t wait to take you all on this adventure with us! ❤️

Oh Millie, don’t worry… by tomorrow your jacket will fit at the rate you are growing. Bernese Mountain Dogs are a large breed dog used often for mobility supports.

Did you know that service dog training starts as early as 8 weeks of age? Exposure to as many sights, sounds, smells, textures etc is important to create a confident puppy, but this needs to be done carefully at first because puppies come to us with only their first set of shots. Careful exposure is key to confidence and ADC Millie is becoming incredibly confident already. Her favourite texture so far is her soft little lamb chop. ♥️

Hello Friends 🙂
I have officially left my litter mates and am now spending a few days with the Ability Dogs Canada team before I make my big trip home to my person! I am having so many new experiences already and I can’t wait for you all to join me on this adventure!
