One of my commitments with this series is to lead with community care. That means offering a limited number of sponsored spaces and sliding-scale options for anyone who feels called to participate but may need financial flexibility. If that's you, please reach out. No explanation necessary.
Many of us spend years answering the question, "What do you do?" before we've had a chance to consider, "Who are you?"
This fall, I'm offering a six-week storytelling and reflection series in Fredericton: Beneath the Job Title: Reclaiming Ourselves Beyond Productivity.
In a culture that often measures our worth through achievement, busyness, and output, this series invites participants to explore who they are beyond work, roles, and accomplishments.
Together, we'll explore:
• Identity beyond occupation and achievement
• The stories we've inherited about success and worth
• The impact of productivity culture on our wellbeing
• Invisible labour, caregiving, and care work
• Values, passions, and purpose beyond our roles
• Practices that honour rest, presence, and intrinsic worth
At its heart, this series asks a simple but powerful question: Who am I when I am not defined by what I produce?
Whether you're feeling burnt out, navigating a transition, questioning old definitions of success, or simply seeking deeper connection with yourself and others, this space is for you.
