Ritual & Story

Ritual & Story At Ritual & Story, we believe words are spells. When written with intention and released in ritual, they become portals for healing.

Explore your inner world through storytelling and intuition as you reconnect, release, and transform.

One of my commitments with this series is to lead with community care. That means offering a limited number of sponsored spaces and sliding-scale options for anyone who feels called to participate but may need financial flexibility. If that's you, please reach out. No explanation necessary.

Many of us spend years answering the question, "What do you do?" before we've had a chance to consider, "Who are you?"

This fall, I'm offering a six-week storytelling and reflection series in Fredericton: Beneath the Job Title: Reclaiming Ourselves Beyond Productivity.

In a culture that often measures our worth through achievement, busyness, and output, this series invites participants to explore who they are beyond work, roles, and accomplishments.

Together, we'll explore:
• Identity beyond occupation and achievement
• The stories we've inherited about success and worth
• The impact of productivity culture on our wellbeing
• Invisible labour, caregiving, and care work
• Values, passions, and purpose beyond our roles
• Practices that honour rest, presence, and intrinsic worth

At its heart, this series asks a simple but powerful question: Who am I when I am not defined by what I produce?

Whether you're feeling burnt out, navigating a transition, questioning old definitions of success, or simply seeking deeper connection with yourself and others, this space is for you.

Who are you beneath your job title?

In a culture that often measures our worth by productivity, achievement, and performance, it can be easy to lose sight of who we are beyond what we do.

Join writer Angie Landry this fall for Beneath the Job Title: Reclaiming Ourselves Beyond Productivity, a six-week storytelling and reflection series exploring identity, worth, rest, care, and what it means to be a human being rather than a human doing.

Together, we'll explore: Identity beyond work and achievement; the stories we've inherited about success and worth; rest, care, and the impact of productivity culture; connection through storytelling and shared reflection; and rituals that honour our intrinsic value and humanity

This series draws on storytelling, reflective practice, ritual, and feminist ways of knowing to help participants reconnect with the deeper qualities that make them who they are.

Asking ourselves: Who am I when I am not defined by what I produce?

Rather than asking how we can do more, this series invites us to remember that we are already enough.

Who are you beneath the job title?

Beneath the deadlines.
Beneath the accomplishments.
Beneath the expectations.
Beneath the constant pressure to always be productive.

Who are you when your worth isn’t measured by what you do?

This fall at Brookside Wellness Centre, a new Ritual & Story series invites you to step away from the noise, reconnect with yourself, and explore the stories you’ve been carrying—and the ones you’re ready to rewrite.
