Bloom in your own time and in your own way b

It is so easy to fall in the trap of comparison.
Each time we do that, we lose connection to our unique life path and devoting our energy to our unique needs that support our bloom.

You deserve to bloom.

You deserve to tend to your own bloom.

This month, join a group of women in Guelph as we explore how to nourish our bodies in nature.
We will set aside the busyness of our lives and tune into the pace of nature to allow our nervous systems to slow down and receive.

Only 4 spots left. Claim your nourishment now!!

Do you know what it feels like to bloom?

To feel your vibrancy and energy?

We have normalized being tired and stressed so much that so often we don't even remember what it feels like to be rested.

That's why I love gathering women in the woods! To support women to slow down and be nourished so they can get a taste of what it feels like to bloom.

Next Women in the Woods will be in Guelph! June 13 1- 4:30.

We will spend the day slowing down on a mindfulness walk, taking soul-o time in the woods, having space to find your voice through writing and sharing in circle.

Women in past groups have shared they felt lighter and happier at the end of the day.

Guelph!! I am returning to Guelph for a week in June and you are invited to an afternoon in the woods with me!

It is so easy to fall into the trap of pushing yourself to be well.
But you cannot hustle your way into a full bloom

Nature shows us that growth does not come from more effort, it comes from having the right nourishment and the internal safety needed to open.

Just as spring is the time for seeds to receive nourishment so they can reach their full bloom, we also need to intentionally set aside time to be nourished.

The Spring Nourishment Afternoon Retreat is an invitation to mindfully return to your body and the forest. Within a safe and playful community, we will re-ignite your energy and practice receiving nourishment to support your journey toward your own full bloom.

Are you ready to press pause in the busyness?

Conforming myself didn’t work

For a long time, I tried to do life the way we’re supposed to. I lived in the city, I pushed, I performed, and I stayed busy. But that pace came with a cost: cycles of burnout and illness. I used to think, “There must be something wrong with me. Everyone else seems to be doing it—I just need to keep pushing.”

But as I began to listen to my own body and the natural world, I realized my body’s cues weren’t illness, but, wisdom. The cycles of the seasons invited me to slow down and align my body to nature’s rhythms instead of society’s.

I realized I wasn't broken, but the system is.

Which means....you aren't broken either!

Through Somatic Experiencing, Nature Connection and Rituals, I help you untangle from productivity culture, listen to your own bodies as nature, and create space for soul-aligned living.

Are you ready to finally slow down and feel alive again?

Nothing life feeling alive than a cold plunge in early May!!

A couple weekends ago, on my birthday, we got a crew together to run into the lake. I thought maybe 2 or 3 of us would go but a whole group turned out!

It really struck me how birthdays are a celebration of being alive! And, did I ever feel alive after that!

I am always moved by the transformation I witness when I watch women come together on the woods.

I watch women that carry a lot of stress and responsibilities, slowly start to feel relaxed as the forest welcomes them exactly as they are.

I see spark return as they explore the forest with their senses.

I witness women start to open and be vulnerable with each other.

I listen to women sigh a sense of relief knowing they aren't alone.

I watch women bloom.

I feel so grateful for the group of women thay showed up for Women in the Woods: Spring Nourishment Day Retreat this past weekend.
We were all nourished by the woods, each other and ourselves.
It is such a simple, yet, profound way of coming back to ourselves when we are drowning with stress and responsibilities.
Next Women in the Woods will be in Guelph on Sat June 13.
DM for the details!
Hope to see you in the woods!

What do you do when life throws you a flood?

It's inevitable!

Despite all the therapy and regulation skills, we can be flooded with an experience, emotion, memory that is simply too much to deal with!!

I sometimes want to run away and avoid the overwhelm!! When the spring flood hit our basement and we couldn't stop the water coming in, I didnt know if i wanted to cry or laugh. (I did both)

I also wanted to hide away in my bed and make it go away. That didn't happen.
But, what did happen was learning how to approach this overwhelming experience in ways that helped me feel supported ans grounded!!

Thought I'd share the simple practices with you so can you apply them the next time you are feeling overwhelmed!

A huge shout out and gratitude to my roomate .bre for all her hard work! And special thanks to for stepping in with a plow and pump!! You guys were lifesavers!!!
