What happens when a hand that wasn’t moving… starts moving?

That was the moment that caught the attention of the rehabilitation team at Punarvaas Hospital, Bengaluru.

Dr. Vineet Johnson, Founder & CEO of IRegained Inc., Canada, presented the MyHand® System to Dr. Srikant Venkatakrishnan, Consultant, Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, along with Mr. Deepak, Operations; Dr. Manjunath, Therapy Lead; and the team of physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

During a clinical demonstration, MyHand® was used with a patient who initially had no observable finger movement. After approximately 20 minutes, the therapists observed noticeable finger movement.

For the team, it was an opportunity to experience firsthand how technology-enabled sensory and motor stimulation could support the exploration of hand function.

Our sincere thanks to Dr. Srikant Venkatakrishnan and the entire Punarvaas team for providing this opportunity to experience, evaluate and engage with MyHand® System.

Sometimes, a small movement can open a whole new possibility.

Sometimes, recovery begins with a movement.
At Sense Health, Bengaluru, Dr. Vineet Johnson, Founder & CEO of IRegained Inc., Canada introduced the MyHand® System in a session that brought together technology, therapy, and most importantly the person at the centre of rehabilitation.

Dr. Kavish, along with Speech Therapist Delna Thomas, a patient, and their caregiver, had the opportunity to experience the MyHand® System firsthand as Dr. Vineet Johnson demonstrated how the device can be incorporated into rehabilitation for individuals with neurological conditions.

What made the interaction special was seeing the technology move beyond a demonstration and into a real patient experience, turning a device into an opportunity to explore movement, participation, and the possibility of greater independence.

These moments remind us that rehabilitation is not simply about technology. It is about people, persistence, and every step forward. We are grateful to the team at Sense Health, Bengaluru, for creating a space for meaningful clinical interaction and for being open to exploring new possibilities in neurorehabilitation.
