Cupping is a traditional Chinese medical therapy that uses negative pressure to induce localized hyperemia or microvascular rupture, thereby promoting the circulation of qi and blood, relaxing tendons and meridians, dispelling wind and cold, and reducing swelling and pain. Its primary benefits include pain relief: it relaxes tight muscles and fascia, alleviating stiffness in the shoulders and neck as well as lower back pain. Promoting Qi and Blood Circulation: It enhances local blood and lymphatic circulation, accelerates the elimination of metabolic waste, and achieves the effect of "unblocking to relieve pain." Removing Dampness and Detoxifying: It helps expel pathogenic factors such as wind, cold, and dampness from the body, improving edema and a constitution prone to water retention. Regulating Internal Organs: It stimulates specific acupoints to alleviate gastrointestinal discomfort, chronic fatigue, and sleep disorders.
