What if your body already knows what's contributing to your migraines?

In this clip from our Migraine Awareness Month series, Dr. Michelle Greenwell explains how kinesiology hand modes can help identify whether migraine symptoms may be linked to structural, chemical, emotional, electrical, or environmental factors.

By asking the body the right questions, we may uncover patterns and stressors that aren't always obvious—opening the door to a deeper understanding of health and healing.

✨ Sometimes the answers aren't where we expect them to be. The key is learning how to listen.

What if your body isn’t asking for more effort… but more balance?

Tight joints. Low energy. Shallow breathing. Everyday stress. We often treat these as separate problems, but they can all be signs that your body is asking for harmony and flow.

That’s why I love Tai Chi. Through gentle, intentional movement, we create space for the body to restore itself—improving flexibility, balance, circulation, deeper breathing, and a greater sense of calm. As movement becomes more fluid, energy and vitality naturally begin to follow.

Today, I’m at the beautiful Creignish Hall, where the incredible ocean view reminds us that wellness is about finding rhythm, balance, and connection with ourselves and the world around us.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or returning to your practice, you’re welcome to join us. We learn at our own pace, support one another, and discover how simple movement can create meaningful change.

Tai Chi Cape Breton classes are held every Thursday, and I would love to see you there.

Check the full schedule on greenwellcenter.com calendar and come experience how movement can become one of your most powerful self-care tools.

MIGRAINE AWARENESS MONTH
What if your body could help guide the healing process?
In this special episode of Be Well with Dr. Michelle Greenwell, I am joined by Kelly Richardson, bioenergetic wellness professional, educator, and founder of the Richardson Center for Learning & Wellness.

With more than 15 years of experience, Kelly helps people explore the deeper patterns behind stress, trauma, concussions, chronic pain, energetic imbalance, and migraine challenges.

Through muscle monitoring and biofeedback, she helps uncover what the body sees as its priority.

Because sometimes the question isn't simply:

"How do I get rid of this migraine?"

It becomes:

What is my body asking for?
What patterns are keeping me stuck?
What have I put on hold while waiting to feel better?
What kind of life am I ready to reclaim?

Kelly's approach recognizes that healing may involve physical, chemical, emotional, nutritional, mental, energetic, and spiritual layers working together.
Most importantly, she empowers people to understand their own bodies and become active participants in their healing journey.

If you've ever felt frustrated by years of trial and error, this conversation offers a hopeful perspective that there may be another way to listen, learn, and move forward.

Pain is part of life. Suffering through it alone doesn't have to be.

In this powerful conversation with Linda from The Mindful Migraine, we explore a truth many people need to hear: healing isn't linear.

Like the ocean tide, healing is always moving. Some days feel light and easy. Others bring setbacks, discomfort, or disappointment. That doesn't mean you're failing—it means you're human.

💭 "When you're having a good day, enjoy that good day. If tomorrow's a bad day, don't blame yourself."

In this episode, Linda shares her personal journey from near-daily migraines to a more balanced life through mindfulness, body awareness, and a new way of understanding pain and recovery.

🌿 Discover:
• Why healing isn't about fighting harder
• How the language we use shapes our wellness journey
• Mindfulness tools for nervous system regulation
• Tai Chi and holistic practices for migraine support
• A fresh perspective on living with chronic pain
