So, from 10-4 on Saturday and Sunday we are hosting a fabulous market to give y’all one more thing to do when you visit Lake Charlotte and Memory Lane. Our vendor line up will be different each day. We found out that if you write “quiche” on your menu board in cursive, there is an entire generation of people who think we are selling quickies. So yes, we continue to write in cursive. (JK we actually printed it this time. Much less fun.) Either way, we have quiche today.

If you’re visiting the area, we recommend a drive to Middle Musquodoboit via the Eastern Shore (highway 7 then 357) where you can meet some of our favourite local growers, farmers and restaurants. And Golden Valley Market, a place we admire. Speaking of admiration, we recommend checking in before leaving the city to be sure they are there, but Snail’s Pace Garden is a must-visit. We are smiling now thinking about your visit, be it a summer vacation to our ocean playground (or in this case, valley) or for a quickie day trip to see something new in your own back yard. Check out those marigolds!

We are delighted to have a small but mighty Speerville order gracing our shelves again in addition to this apple cider vinegar from Woodville, Nova Scotia. We are adding Speerville’s organic golden sugar, whole wheat pastry flour and Saint John Valley cereal to our Refillery so you can buy it by the kg if you don’t want a full bag. Anything that comes to us via Speerville is top shelf. 🇨🇦
