Poke or Treat: A Poke Spectrum Halloween Social!

Get ready for a spooky Pokémon afternoon! Join Poke Spectrum Social for Halloween fun, games, and lots of treats!

Bring some treats to share! We encourage everyone to bring peanut-free treats so we can fill our trick-or-treat stash. Bring your treat bucket, bag, or whatever you’d like to use to take home some delicious goodies!

We’ll be playing fun games together and celebrating Halloween with our Pokémon community.

A special treat for everyone! Every attendee will receive a spooky Pokémon skeleton keychain, generously donated by Halifax based 3d printing artist Thank you for supporting our community!

We can’t wait to see everyone for an afternoon of Pokémon, treats, and Halloween fun!

Please remember: All treats brought to share must be peanut-free.

Binder making night was so much fun! We had a great crew and lots of creative pieces. Sam helped Sam make a tactical Pokemon binder. Yes… it is meant to say Sam and Sam. ☺️

Our October schedule is here!

Please note that we will not have our regular Poké Spectrum Social on Monday, October 12 for Thanksgiving.

Instead, we’re hosting a special Pokémon Pumpkin Painting and/or Carving Night on Wednesday, October 15 from 6:30–8:30 PM at 56 Walter Havill Drive.

Our October schedule is:

October 5 — 6:15–7:45 PM
October 15 — 6:30–8:30 PM — Pokémon Pumpkin Night
October 19 — 6:15–7:45 PM
October 26 — 6:15–7:45 PM

For our October 15 event, participants can paint or carve a Pokémon-themed pumpkin, socialize, or simply enjoy the evening with us. Verbal descriptions and assistance will be available for participants who are blind or visually impaired.

We can’t wait to see everyone in October!

Poké Spectrum Social is looking for disabled individuals across HRM to join us in the 2026 Holiday Parade of Lights!

Whether you walk, roll, use a mobility aid, or have other accessibility needs, we want you to be part of our group as we celebrate disability, community, and the holiday season together.

The parade takes place Saturday, November 21st.

We’re switching things up this month! Since Monday is Thanksgiving, we’re moving our Pumpkin Carving Party to Thursday, October 15th and we’re making it a little later and keeping the fun going a little longer!

Join us Monday, September 28th from 6:15–7:45 PM at 56 Walter Havill Drive for an evening of music, singing, and fun with the Poké Spectrum Social community.

Pokemon Trivia night at Chain Yard Taproom was a success tonight. What a turn out! We had such a competitive competition. One of our own teams “The Lates” took home the gold. 🥇

We had so much fun connecting with friends and community. Thanks to everyone who came and made the night a success. Thank you to Chain Yard Taproom for hosting us we are so grateful.
