This year, I’m creating smudging bundles that bring together beautiful botanicals and natural elements, each with its own traditional spiritual symbolism and intention. 🌙

🐚 Hand-Picked Clam Shells from Salem, Massachusetts

Each clam shell has been personally hand-picked by me from the ocean in Salem, Massachusetts! 🌊 These beautiful treasures represent protection, grounding, emotional balance, and our connection to the ocean and the natural world. Traditionally used as vessels for smudging, they add a personal and meaningful touch to every bundle.

🪵 Palo Santo — Purification, grounding, peace, and positive intention.

🤍 White Sage — Cleansing, clarity, renewal, and fresh beginnings.

🌿 Blue Sage — Peace, balance, tranquility, and spiritual reflection.

🌱 Garden Sage — Wisdom, strength, resilience, and protection.

💜 Lavender — Calm, love, harmony, and a peaceful atmosphere.

🌙 Mugwort — Intuition, dreams, self-discovery, and spiritual connection.

A Night of Remembrance, Laughter & Conversation 🍺

Join us on November 2, 2026 at 5:30 PM (EST) at Aquanova Brewing Company in Hamilton, Ontario for a special evening on All Saints’ Day of the Dead.

This night is all about bringing death out of the shadows to create space for meaningful conversations, remembrance, connection — and lots of fun. During the evening, we’ll use The Death Deck card game to guide the conversation, with a mix of thoughtful, funny and unexpected questions about death, dying, wishes and beliefs. You can answer, share a story, join in, or simply listen. There’s no pressure and you can always pass.”

Bring a photo, small memorial item, or meaningful keepsake to add to our community altar honoring those who have passed. Please avoid anything valuable or irreplaceable as items will be displayed throughout the evening.

✨ A Healing Bond — Father & Son ✨

Some connections are woven far beyond what words can express. 🤍

These healing bracelets were intentionally created in sets of three, using Unakite, Black Obsidian, and Black Onyx — each stone chosen for its symbolic connection to healing, grounding, protection, and emotional strength.

🌿 Unakite — associated with emotional healing, balance, compassion, and moving forward with an open heart.

🖤 Black Obsidian — traditionally used for grounding, energetic protection, and releasing what no longer serves us.

🖤 Black Onyx — symbolically connected with strength, stability, resilience, and protection through challenging times.

Placed in threes, the stones represent the interconnected energies of mind, body, and spirit — while also honouring the powerful connection between father and son.

A bracelet can be more than something we wear. It can become a physical reminder of love, strength, protection, and the intention to heal. ✨

I’m so glad she found me 🧚‍♀️I could feel her soul speaking to mine.

I found this beautiful print, and I was instantly drawn to its energy. I could feel the sorrow, the sadness, and the quiet knowing that this little pixie fairy was experiencing her final days on Earth.

There is something about this artwork that speaks so deeply to me. It captures how magical both the beginning of life and the ending of life can be and how much meaning can exist in the space between the two.

We are more than our bodies. We are our stories, our experiences, our memories, our connections, and all the moments that made our lives worth living.

You can almost feel that this little fairy knows her time is coming to an end. She is sitting with her sorrow, reflecting, perhaps remembering, and simply being present with what is.

And maybe that is one of the most beautiful parts of the end-of-life journey: allowing space for the sadness, the reflection, the memories, and the unknown, while still recognizing the magic that exists within it.

There can be beauty in endings, just as there is beauty in beginnings. ✨🧚‍♀️🌿

Sometimes, we just need to slow down enough to see it.

What a whirlwind these last few months have been

So much learning, navigating, feeling, reflecting, and attending multiple courses as I worked toward completing my education and certification with the Canadian Association of MAiD Assessors and Providers.

I can honestly say this has been such an honour and an incredibly meaningful experience. I am so grateful I decided to add this education to my journey as an End of life Doula

One of the most special parts of this experience was having the opportunity to show up as an End-of-Life Doula and spend several days alongside doctors, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals, engaging in important conversations about end-of-life care.

It was also an incredible opportunity to explain exactly what an End of Life Doula does, how we can complement the work of healthcare professionals, and the role we can play in supporting individuals and families throughout their end-of-life journey.

I felt incredibly honoured to represent and show up for the Doula community in that space.

While this education does not make me a MAiD assessor or provider. Those roles are reserved for qualified medical professionals. I now feel much more confident in my ability to support my clients when they have questions about Medical Assistance in Dying (MAiD), help them understand their options, and navigate conversations with their healthcare team.

Having autonomy over your own end-of-life care is something I believe deserves to be approached with compassion, dignity and judgement free.

The ability to have a choice in what your end-of-life journey may look like is something that many people around the world do not have.

For me, this education is another piece of being able to walk alongside people during one of the most vulnerable, profound, and meaningful chapters of their lives.

These conversations may not always be easy. But they are incredibly important. Let’s talk about death before we are forced to.
