Nova Scotia is experiencing an increase in the number of COVID-19 cases and an increase of cases are due to COVID-19 variants with evidence of community transmission in all of the NSHA Zones.
In response to this, we will be switching all clinic appointments to telephone visits to help reduce the risk of transmission within our community and facility and to protect our patients, staff, and physicians.
If the physician feels you need to be seen in person, we will schedule an appointment for you. If you are to be seen in clinic, please *postpone* your visit if you have any fever or respiratory symptoms (cough, sore throat, nasal congestion).
We also want to encourage you to avoid using the ER for non-urgent concerns.
If you have any respiratory concerns or think you may have been exposed to COVID-19, please call 811 or go to https://novascotia.ca/coronavirus/symptoms-and-testing/ or https://covid-self-assessment.novascotia.ca/en or https://www.nshealth.ca/coronavirustesting
to schedule a COVID test.
Thank you for your understanding.
