Reminder: running off stress hormones is not sustainable 🙅
Read that again.
When our body is exposed to chronic stressors or not fuelled properly, we will run off stress hormones and our body begins to break itself down to get the nutrients it needs. This is super energy intensive and can take away from other important processes that should be happening.
It is super common in our modern world for women to run off cortisol, skip meals, suppress appetite and create a viscous cycle.
Signs you're running off stress hormones:
⚡Cold hands and feet
⚡Body temps below 97.5
⚡irregular bowel movements + bloating
⚡Constant need to be productive and go-go-go
⚡Constant cravings and obsession with food
⚡Low libido
⚡Wired and tired at night
