Respiratory illness season is here. Are you ready? 💉

Flu, COVID-19 and RSV can cause serious illness, especially in older adults, young children and people with weakened immune systems.

Vaccines are available through many local pharmacies, and home vaccination may be an option for eligible homebound residents through home services such as Quinte-Hastings Community Paramedics.

🤒 Feeling sick and need care? Knowing where to go can help you find the right care for your needs.

Today is Global Handwashing Day! Clean hands are one of the best ingredients for safe food!

Did you know that improper handwashing can spread harmful bacteria and viruses to the food we eat?
- Always wash your hands:
- Before preparing or handling food.

- After handling raw meat, poultry or seafood.
- After coughing, sneezing or touching your face.
- After handling garbage or cleaning supplies.

Use soap and warm running water, scrub thoroughly for at least 20 seconds, rinse and dry with a clean towel.
