My daughter always asks me, “Mom, how much do you love me?”
“To the sun, the moon, the stars, and back,” I tell her.
What she doesn’t realize is how much she’s changed me.
There were seasons when I felt like I was letting her down. Times when I was exhausted, overwhelmed, and running on empty. But every morning I wake up feeling stronger, healthier, and more present feels like a second chance to be the mom she deserves.
She reminds me that joy lives in the smallest moments.
“Mom, can we stop at the beach and watch the sunset?”
To her, it’s just a simple question. To me, it’s another memory I’ll hold onto forever.
She creates opportunities for connection without even knowing it. Her innocence, wonder, and ability to find magic in ordinary moments are gifts I wish I could preserve forever.
So I’m holding myself accountable to keep growing. To keep healing. To keep showing up.
Because little eyes are always watching.
And if I’m lucky, she’ll grow up knowing that the greatest thing I ever did wasn’t building a business or achieving a goal—it was becoming the mother she needed me to be.
