The day at the Junction Triangle Really Really Free Market was one of those beautiful community days that reminds you what neighbourhood connection is all about đź©·

The kids handed out balloons and lollipops, made arts and crafts, soaked up the sun, and even met a lizard named “Meatball.” Live music from filled Campbell Avenue Park while student bands took to the stage for some of their very first performances.

One of the best parts was watching previously loved toys, books, clothes, plants, and household items find new homes with other families.

Big thanks to the organizers , volunteers, and .pizza for helping bring everyone together for such a thoughtful event.

A reminder that kindness, creativity, music, and community care still matter, and that simple local gatherings can go a long way.

So many of us have never been to — or even heard of — a Mother’s Blessing. This weekend, I had so much fun explaining them to anyone who would listen.

We all know and think of a baby shower as the natural celebration when a woman is expecting… but a Mother’s Blessing is something deeper. Still have your baby shower. Celebrate baby, play the games, open the gifts. But the woman becoming a mother deserves to be deeply held, too.

A Mother’s Blessing is an afternoon of sacred sisterhood. A space where mama is surrounded with love, tenderness, encouragement, and intention before she crosses the threshold into birth and motherhood.

Women gather in circle to offer words of strength and empowerment. They bring small meaningful gifts just for her — maybe a crystal to hold during labour, a handwritten affirmation, herbal bath salts, or something symbolic and supportive.

Together, you might create an affirmation banner filled with messages she can display during labour. You may adorn candles with prayers and intentions to be lit when labour begins. Or create a bracelet with intentional beads for mama to wear throughout pregnancy — a reminder of the women standing beside her and holding her through the journey.

Every gathering is unique. I work with the hostess to curate a custom experience based on the mother’s personality, wishes, and season of life. We choose which rituals, activities, and moments of honouring feel most aligned. I bring all materials needed and create a beautiful, intentional circle for mama and her closest loved ones.

And the invitations? Leave those to me too — I’ll design and send them for easy digital sharing.

Birth is transformative. Mothers deserve to be celebrated with just as much care, intention, and reverence as the baby they are bringing earthside.

Happy Mother’s Day to all who mother. 💕

To the women raising babies, holding families together, growing communities, birthing ideas, creating, tending, caring, healing, protecting and pouring love into the world in ways both seen and unseen. Mothering is a force far beyond biology. It is devotion, intuition, softness, strength, sacrifice, and creation.

I feel endlessly blessed to be a mother to my daughters. Motherhood has brought me the highest highs, the kind of love that cracks you wide open, and also the moments that humble me, soften me, challenge me, and ask me to grow in ways I never imagined.

I am so honoured to also get to walk along side women on their journey to motherhood. To remind them of their power, their intuition, and their ability to birth in a way that feels supported, informed, and deeply sacred. Thank you to the mothers who have welcomed me into their lives during their most transformative moments and trusted me to hold space for them.

✨Blessed are the mothers who nurture life in all its forms. The ones who hold, guide, protect, create, heal, and love with their whole hearts.
May you feel seen today for all that you carry and all that you give.✨
