Sacred Reconnection Wellness Services

Sacred Reconnection Wellness Services Wellness professional with 15 yrs of experience, blending Indigenous teachings and Western practices.

Offering holistic wellness services including psychotherapy, consultation, and classes like, Natural Rhythms to help you reconnect to all your relations. I’ve spent the last 15 years in the wellness industry, and I created this business to align more closely with my personal values and the services I offer. As a woman with mixed ancestry, I’m deeply passionate about weaving a “two-eyed seeing” app

roach into all of my work—this means blending Indigenous teachings with the best of Western practices to create a holistic experience for everyone I work with. One of the ways I do this is through my Natural Rhythms class, a unique offering that combines mindful, rhythmic movement to help participants release limiting beliefs, reconnect with their true selves, their roots, and the world around them. As a Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist (Supervisor Qualifying), I offer therapy services for individuals, couples, and families, as well as supervision/consultation for other helping professionals, particularly those interested in trauma-informed care with Indigenous communities. I’m passionate about teaching decolonization through exploring worldview differences and the challenges that arise from them. Coming soon, I’ll be offering holistic, trauma-informed retreats that provide a safe, healing, space for people to disconnect in natural settings and reconnect with themselves and "all their relations" in a deeper, more meaningful way. When I’m not working, I’m a proud mom to two amazing children, who continue to inspire me. I share a home in a beautiful mountain town with my partner. We love spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and going on adventures together, which often means living out of our camper for long periods at a time! We love disconnecting from the busyness of life and losing ourselves in nature!

For those of you who haven't yet tried out a Natural Rhythms class, here is a bit of an overview of what to expect.

I know trying new things can be hard, but this class is intended to be a gentle and fun reconnection to your body. It uses mindfulness and meditation to help us slow down and check in with our minds. It uses mindful stretching/yoga to "say hello" to your body. Finally it allows us to play with rhythm and different types of movement to allow your body to release what it no longer needs. Various psychotherapeutic & traditional teachings are weaved together with trauma-informed care to bring this class together.

***If you are interested in giving this a try, there are still a few spots left on June 10th at MY GYM & Fitness Center . Email Trish @ [email protected] ***

Land-based therapy sneak peek #3 🐾

Helpers are all around us — seen and unseen.
They come in many forms, and sometimes they have four legs and a wagging tail.

Here is one of my little helpers. If people are comfortable with her joining us, she may stop by to bark a quick hello before settling nearby, usually curled up under a chair close to the group. 🤍

Animals have such a gentle way of helping people feel grounded, connected, and at ease.

Land-based therapy sneak peek #2 🌿

The bodies of water surrounding our healing space…a lake view, a flowing little stream with our friendly beavers 🦫, and a pond full of winged ones and swimmers.

So much life, movement, and medicine in one place.

Land-based healing begins long before a session starts. It lives in the care, preparation, intention, and relationship with the land itself.

Lots of work ahead, but we’re excited to keep creating this space. Stay tuned and please feel free to ask questions about this practice. 🌿

Spring is finally here 🌱✨

There’s something so grounding and uplifting about watching the first little buds appear after a long season of waiting.

Gentle reminders that growth often begins quietly…one small sign at a time. 💚

Repair - Part two

Sometimes we need space.
Sometimes we need quiet.
Sometimes our systems become overwhelmed and we are not immediately ready for repair.

And yet… how we take space matters.

This post explores the difference between healthy pause and patterns of disconnection that can quietly erode trust over time. Communication, clarity, and follow-through help create emotional safety — even during difficult moments.

Repair does not require perfection.
But it does require care.
