**FROM WHERE I STAND**
Every once in a while, I want to step out from behind the professional and share a little more of what lives underneath.
*From Where I Stand* is a space for reflection, stories, teachings, people who have shaped me, and the things I’m still learning along the way.
It’s a chance for you to get to know the person behind Sacred Reconnections a little more— just another human being who is continually listening, questioning, making mistakes, growing, and finding her way.
Because where we stand shapes what we see. And sometimes, sharing where we stand gives someone else permission to pause and wonder about where they are standing, too.
For this month, I am reflecting on a special connection. Some people enter our lives and leave an imprint so meaningful that it becomes difficult to put into words what they have meant to us.
Louise is one of those people for me.
As I begin this series of "From Where I Stand" reflections, it feels right that Louise is where I begin.
In this post, I want to share about the sacred connections that show up in our lives and just a little bit of the ways this remarkable woman has shown up in mine, some of the things she taught me without always realizing she was teaching, and some of the ways her presence continues to shape my world.
This isn’t really a story about one person.
It’s a story about what happens when we allow ourselves to be changed by the people who cross our paths.
And this is where I stand because of Louise.
