ment etc, many of us haven’t learned how to create it, discern it, or trust it. Because of my own wellness journey, I know that with the right medicine/wisdom, we are all capable of healing, in fact we’re programmed for it. Healing happens in community, and I'm not the expert. Spirit Rising Healing Collective is a studio space for passionate people to share their teachings, and anything else that lights them up with the community. Come gather and connect at Spirit Rising, and find something that inspires you! I’m passionate about facilitating safe and creative spaces for individuals and groups in identifying and making meaning of their own feelings and experiences. Through a variety of activities, topics, sharing circles, creative workshops, ceremony and genuine connection, my hope is to empower folks to trust their inner wisdom, recognize their inherent worth and support them in moving towards their goals and values. Some of the content I’ve facilitated has been centred around empowerment, grief, recovery, cultural connection, self esteem, rites of passage, ancestral healing, moon teachings, intention, land based healing, sexualized violence, somatic awareness, boundaries, social justice, solstice celebrations, expressive art therapy etc. My groups and sessions are structured intentionally using various immersive modalities like sound healing, ritual, guided meditation, writing, somatic practice, expressive arts and more, to aid in an embodied experience. I am a mixed Indigenous European female identifying person and have been on an intentional healing journey for many years. I draw wisdom in my practice from respected elders, teachers and wisdom keepers from my own nation and across turtle island. As a social justice advocate, I bring a grounded social analysis and a collective liberatory lens to all of my work. I have certificates in Earth Medicine, Embodied Social Justice, and Mind Body Somatic Coaching.

Untamed by conditioning. Led by instinct.

In this month’s FERAL gathering, our circle is anchored by the second card of the Wild Woman Oracle: Lilith.

Lilith is the archetype of absolute autonomy, sovereignty, and the refusal to bow down to inequitable dynamics. She famously chose the isolation of the harsh, untamed desert over a beautiful garden where she was forced to suppress her true nature.

She reminds us that our softness isn’t the problem, and it shouldn’t require self-abandonment. Soft hearts need sharp claws.

This gathering is a safe, sacred wilderness for us to explore and untangle our truth from external pressures and nice girl conditioning.

No Performance: No pressure to share, and no expectation to arrive “healed,” fearless, or even happy. Come exactly as you are.

Connection: An opportunity to relate, listen to and share the unfiltered words, feelings and experiences of like minded Women who just know.

Embodied Release: Music and gentle movement designed to shake out the heavy expectations and stored tension your body has been carrying.

Journaling & Inquiry: Guided inner journey of exploration, and writing prompts exploring where we’re sacrificing our wild autonomy to maintain an illusion of safety or acceptance.

Candlelight Ritual: A physical declaration to burn away the fears, habits, masks, and barriers.

Healing is political. If your space holders aren’t saying that then there’s a good chance they are benefiting from a system meant to support and uplift ‘them’ so much so that they won’t/can’t really see you clearly if you look different from them. Because of that, what they are offering is akin to va**um at best but more likely, harm to you, and shame and internalized oppression to the global majority of us that are not benefiting from a Wellness Space that is unwilling to recognize that Queerness, non whiteness, gender, Chronic illness, poverty, mental health challenges, lack of citizenship, education level, and plenty more intersections most DEFINITELY affect the access we have to healing spaces and equitable treatment.
I don’t care much for labels unless they help me understand myself or relate to you, so you should know…
Spirit Rising Healing Collective is owned by a chronically ill, indigenous, q***r, femme, neurodivergent, CPTSD survivor of multiple SA, grade 10 grad, in recovery, who was raised by a single mom and has relied on food banks and government assistance to get by.

I’m also a strong ass mf who is quick to cry, even quicker to ruin the vibe of a racist joke, was given a second lease on life, and will always pause for beauty and creatures.
Whatever life you’ve experienced and skin you’re in, I care about you, and you’re safe with me. *Unless you’re an as***le, cause that’s not my mission, and kindness matters. Hate has no home here.

I recently heard that the Woman we are in our 40’s is the same as the girl we were when at 16yrs old, except we can really love her now.
I had claws when I was 16 but I didn’t know how to love myself.

That struck me and that self love and care is a pillar of my new monthly women’s full moon gathering- FERAL.

There are parts of us that were never meant to be tamed.

And yet, so many of us learned early how to shrink, soften, and silence ourselves just to belong. To be agreeable. Easy. Palatable. Safe.

Over time, that conditioning doesn’t just affect how we show up in the world — it can distance us from our instincts, our voice, our anger, our boundaries, and our truth.

Thats where FERAL comes in. Not hardening, unlearning, and returning to self, to whats real. Soft Hearts need sharp claws.
