Sir George and Jesus — The Handshake That Changed Everything

One beautiful morning, Sir George was walking along a quiet road when he saw Jesus standing beside the river.

Sir George smiled and said:

“Master, I have been facing many challenges. Sometimes I wonder if I am really strong enough.”

Jesus smiled and stretched out His hand.

“George, strength is not the absence of difficult days. Strength is choosing to keep going.”

Sir George shook His hand and said:

“But sometimes I pray and nothing seems to happen.”

Jesus laughed gently and replied:

“You are asking for an immediate answer, George. Even your breakfast takes time to cook!” 😂

Sir George laughed.

Then Jesus placed His hand on George’s shoulder and said:

“Do not give up because the answer is taking time. Keep believing, keep working, keep praying, and keep your heart good. The road may be difficult, but you are not walking it alone.”

Sir George looked at Jesus and smiled.

“So, Master, should I stop worrying?”

Jesus answered:

“Yes.”

George nodded.

Then, after a moment, he asked:

“Completely?”

Jesus smiled and said:

“At least worry less. You are not the one carrying the whole world!” 😂

They both laughed.

And Sir George continued his journey with a lighter heart, knowing that sometimes the greatest blessing is not that the road becomes easy, but that God gives you the courage to keep walking.
