Happy New Year🥂

2026 will look a little different for Candles by Kara. After much deliberation I have decided it’s time for a break.

Since starting to make and sell candles my life has changed drastically. I have had so many responsibilities added to my plate and I have never put anything down.

Truth be told, I am wearing out. Trying to balance being a parent, 3 jobs, maintaining a house and taking care of myself- it’s impossible. Unfortunately the only thing I can really put down right now is candles.

In the coming weeks I will be restocking my stores and posting the candles/room sprays/wax melts that I have available. Orders will be accepted until January 31st.
My website has been disabled for the time being so I will only be accepting orders via DM and text.

If you have read this far thank you. This is a really hard decision but it’s necessary. Stay tuned for the list of what will be available

First thing- We have care of a sweet little baby. This was unexpected for us but very welcome. He has flipped our lives a little upside down.

While we’ve been adjusting to changes in our life at home candles have been put on the back burner.

That being said we do have a handful of 4oz fall candles made that never got launched😬

Momentarily ALL 10oz Candles are completely sold out😔

We have been having a hell of a time trying to source jars and get them to Meadow Lake.

The Canada Post strike has stopped our most recent order of jars in transit.

Hopefully we can figure something out soon.

What this also means is unfortunately our Autumn Launch will only consist of 4oz candles😔 This is heartbreaking considering all the work put in to planning and testing new scents for the season and losing out on some of our best selling season.

Thank you for reading and understanding. We are truly so disappointed by this

I read something today and part of it said “What a blessing it is to be tired from doing what I love so much”😌

And I needed that perspective. I’ve felt very overwhelmed and tired the last little while but I am so thankful I get to wake up and do what I love
