At our next circle we will become aware of of the attachments and aversions we have. What are we clinging to and what do we push away?

Without awareness, these patterns can be shaping our lives underneath the surface. By bringing awareness, we create space for patterns to shift and life can flow rather then moving away from / clinging to certain outcomes or situations.

We will be starting with open shares and discussions, move into a Hatha yoga sequence, and end with meditation.

This was the first time I felt safe enough to truly hold myself through an emotional release.

Before this, I relied on others to help me feel safe in my body. In this video, I share what it was like to finally move through an emotion I had been holding onto for a long time.

I talk about the coming back into my body after a period of dissasociation. I also explore how β€œunderstanding” the situations we have been through, can sometimes become a form of bypassingβ€”keeping us from actually feeling and releasing them.

Gratitude. Gratitude. Gratitude.

I am so damn grateful for my life everyday. I know that hardships and "troubles" will never be gone in life, but the framework I now have will forever be with me.

I experienced deep darkness for a very long time. Until 26 years old, i lived in total darkness. Abuse. Abuse of myself, abuse from other people, abuse of substances And as I tend to those parts of myself, and really look at them and see them and accept them, I feel so much for that girl who experienced those things.

Having lived that darkness, and experienced the contrast from then until now, I almost don't have words to explain it.

And although it was so hard to get here, I realize that what I went through is not just a bad experience or being dealt a sh*tty hand in life. It is actually a huge fu***ng gift that keeps on giving through this deep gratitude of simply just being alive here and now and actually being able appreciate that.

Our hardest most painful movements have gifts to give us. And to some, that may seem absurd, and truly crazy and that's okay. Each life is on a different path.

✨ In our last circle, we explored our emotions and our relationship to them. Do we push them away? Do we allow them to be there? Are there certain emotions we prefer over others?

✨ In this next class, we will take a deeper look at attachments, aversions, and conditioning. We will explore what happens when we become attached to emotions, experiences, or desired outcomes in our lives. These attachments can create aversions (strong resistance or disliking), which can eventually form conditioned patterns that quietly influence many different areas of our lives if we are not aware of them.

πŸ§˜πŸ»β€β™€οΈThis circle offers a space for reflection, awareness, embodiment, and connection as we deepen our understanding of ourselves and our inner patterns.
