🍃Small batch means that every product offered by Earth and Soul has been lovingly curated by hand on our 10 acre Homestead in the Nicola Valley, BC.

✨While we reach toward our decade milestone in small business, it is incredible to look back on all the things we’ve learned over the years.

I can hardly believe that it has been almost 10 full years of fine-tuning this beautiful dream that was once just a thought in mind. Scott and I had no idea what Earth and Soul was meant to become back then, all we knew was that we needed to start.

I am so grateful that we had the courage to take the leap into the unknown waters of entrepreneurialism.

It has refined us into better people along the way with every challenge and victory we‘ve faced.

Day one of the Lower Nicola Garlic Festival was a good one! 🧄✨

It started with rain and ended with mud, sunshine, and plenty of memories. We couldn’t have asked for a better first day!

And we’re back again today from 10–3

We love being part of community events, and this year we’re trying something new as we collaborate with New Human, Re-Union event in Enderby that’s happening the weekend after the Lower Nicola Garlic Fest. 🧄🍂

🧚Plants bring more into life than just their constituents

Since starting Earth and Soul ALMOST 10 years ago(🤯), we have gotten to know many of Mother Earths plants on various levels.

I’ve studied them for their medicinal constituents, I’ve grown many of them from seed in my own backyard, I visit them in nature, I share them with community, and they bring me comfort in many ways..

💐But one thing I didn’t expect from plants, was how they continually welcome incredible people into my life.

We are full time in harvesting, preserving and alchemizing our bounty ✨

Yay, we’re back!! ✨

The evacuation order for our area was reduced to an evacuation alert on Monday afternoon. We had an incredible rain storm on Saturday and more rain followed on Sunday which helped to curtail the heat, fire, and smoke.

We never really thought of it as being a privilege to access our own home but this summer, that’s the way it was for many folks in BC.

As we get back to life, there’s still an underlying feeling of uncertainty but this too shall pass. The Ainslie Creek Fire is presently at a much safer distance from us currently about 22.3 km away. This might still sound close to some, but it’s much better than the 2.5 km distance that it was only days ago.

It feels good to get back in the studio today and to begin processing your orders.
