I feel it is important to clarify my side of the situation and share the facts as I understand and experienced them.

I made an offer regarding an increase in my chair rental. That offer was not accepted.
Regarding cleaning responsibilities, I said that the one task I did not want to take on was washing the floors.

There have also been interactions that I personally found disrespectful and that have left me feeling very uncomfortable in the workplace. Others were present for some of these interactions.
I have paid my chair rental for the notice period I was given. However, because I no longer feel comfortable servicing my clients in this environment, I do not intend to continue working from this location until November 30.

I also want to acknowledge that there was a time when offering some services from this location exceeded my expectations, and I am grateful for the positive experiences I had there.

I am sharing this only to clarify my own experience and my reasons for moving forward.

Good Morning Merritt!

I'm leaving my current chair rental location at the end of November. I'm gonna be hard pressed to find a new spot.

I'm putting feelers out to Merritonians wondering if anyone has a business in town (or a home salon) that may have room to bring a stylist in to help contribute $ to the lease. I would just need a little well lit corner and a place to add a shampoo sink.

I appreciate any thoughts or leads. Picture for attention. 778 865 0533

Be well !
