It provides our bodies with the necessary fuel to be physically active, help us concentrate and think, perform at our best, and feel good. wants to create an environment, culture, and community that nurtures, educates and provides our children with this first step in a healthy lifestyle. is a group of parents and community pro

fessionals who want the students and staff of the new elementary school, King Street Elementary, to have healthy choices in their cafeteria. Our volunteer Board of Directors will have control over where and what food is sourced, how it is prepared, and what is sold in the cafeteria. Our initiative is not the first of its kind in Miramichi. Max Aiken Academy, Gretna Green School, NSEE, and NSER already are reaping the benefits of having healthful and affordable food choices for their students, staff, and community.
