1 women's and 1 men's. Next women's sweat is June 14th and men's Sweat on the week of June 28th

This is to help everyone enjoy the summer and powwow trail as well as ceremony in other parts of Mik'maki.

After completing the naming ceremonies over this past weekend, 27 babies/ Families have received their spirit names, colors, warrior, & spirit!

This shows how much this ceremony was needed in this part of our territory here in PEI. It was a honor to witness babies/families reclaim their Identity back through ceremony. We wish to thank Jane and Sinead for coming all this way. Some of the Matriarchs were also gifted on how to do baby welcoming ceremony that they will now carry on the knowledge here in PEI.
Jane and Sinead, we are extremely thankful for all that you do for the people, and creating safe spaces for all while doing so. Wela'lin.

Thank you Kelly & Eliza for helping the these amazing ladies do their ceremonies for the community that holds wonderful, adorable babies/ families. It takes a community to raise a child and that's what we are at Sukwi'sim. Community.
