The times the body was unable to move, couch and bed were the offerings to practice gentle yoga asanas. Those days have transcended into mobility, yet some days, call for extra softness.
I have found that Yoga isn’t about doing a pose right, or having to achieve something. For me, experientially, I’ve come to meet and befriend Yoga as a pure connection with the heart and essence, a coming home to our truest light, our Soul.
This particular pose during yesterday’s restorative class honoured those parts of self… the rapid opening and closing, held and contained longer in sacred opening.
From pendulating, to honouring the calm, that is learning safety and Beeing in internally and externally 🙏🏽
