Les maladies chroniques comme les maladies cardiovasculaires, le diabète de type 2 et l’hypertension sont de plus en plus présentes, souvent plus tôt dans la vie. Pourtant, plusieurs de ces maladies peuvent être prévenues et parfois même améliorées grâce à de saines habitudes de vie. 🌿

Prendre soin de soi ne doit pas être compliqué ou parfait. Le changement durable commence souvent par de petites actions simples :
✨ marcher un peu plus chaque jour
✨ ajouter plus d’aliments frais et nourrissants à son alimentation
✨ prioriser son sommeil
✨ prendre quelques minutes pour respirer, ralentir et gérer son stress
✨ bouger son corps d’une façon qu’on aime
✨ apprendre à se prioriser

On n’a pas besoin d’attendre d’être malade pour commencer à prendre soin de sa santé. La prévention est un cadeau qu’on se fait à soi-même, pour vivre mieux au quotidien🤍

Today is a reminder that kindness matters more than we think. 🤍

A simple act — a smile, a kind word, checking in on someone, listening without judgment, or helping someone in a small way — can completely change a person’s day. We never truly know what someone is going through, and even the smallest gesture can make someone feel seen, supported, and less alone.

Kindness also creates connection. It brings people together, strengthens communities, and reminds us of our shared humanity. And often, when we give kindness to others, we feel the impact within ourselves too — more gratitude, more connection.

Today, choose one small act of kindness. You never know how far it may ripple. 🤍🤍🤍

Au début de ma carrière, je voyais des gens malades à tous les jours.

Des maladies chroniques.
Des complications.
Des vies qui changeaient complètement à cause de la maladie

Et ce qui me frappait le plus… c’est que beaucoup me disaient :

“Je pensais pas que ça m’arriverait.” et ça m’a vraiment marqué

Parce que j’ai réalisé qu’on attend souvent d’être malade… pour commencer à prendre soin de nous.

Et moi, j’avais pas envie d’attendre ce moment-là.
J’avais pas envie de me réveiller un jour en réalisant que c’était “trop t**d”.

Je veux une belle qualité de vie.
Pas juste maintenant… mais aussi plus t**d.

C’est là que j’ai commencé.

Pas parfaitement.
Juste… en faisant des petits choix différents.

Bouger un peu plus.
Manger différemment.
Prendre soin de moi.

Et non, je me suis pas transformée du jour au lendemain en personne qui capote sur les smoothies verts 🙊🌱

Aujourd’hui, je réalise que prendre soin de sa santé,
c’est pas une obligation. C’est un privilège.

Et surtout…
c’est un choix qu’on peut commencer bien avant d’y être obligé.

At the beginning of my career, I was seeing sick people every single day.

Chronic illnesses.
Complications.
Lives completely changed because of disease.

And what struck me the most… was that so many of them told me:

“I never thought this would happen to me.”
And that really stayed with me.

Because I realized that we often wait until we’re sick… to start taking care of ourselves.

And I didn’t want to wait for that moment.
I didn’t want to wake up one day realizing it was “too late.”

I want a good quality of life.
Not just now… but later too.

That’s when I started.

Not perfectly.
Just… by making small, different choices.

Moving a little more.
Eating differently.
Taking care of myself.

And no, I didn’t suddenly turn into someone obsessed with green smoothies 🙊🌱

Today, I realize that taking care of your health
isn’t an obligation. It’s a privilege.

And most importantly…
it’s a choice we can make long before we’re forced to. 🤍

Day 29: Energy Balls ✨

Today’s focus is all about simple, nourishing fuel — energy balls (or protein balls) of your choice!

These are one of my favorite go-to snacks: quick to make, satisfying, and packed with nutrients to keep your energy stable throughout the day.

My go-to: Peanut Butter Energy Balls 🥜🍫

Ingredients:
• 1 cup old-fashioned oats
• 2/3 cup shredded coconut (optional)
• 1/2 cup peanut butter
• 1/2 cup ground flaxseed
• 1/2 cup chocolate chips
• 1/3 cup honey
• 1 tbsp chia seeds (optional)
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions:
Mix everything together, roll into bite-sized balls, and refrigerate for about 30 minutes. That’s it!

Simple, delicious, and perfect for busy days 💛

Movement doesn’t have to feel like a chore. It can be something you look forward to, something that fills your cup & clears your mind.

Find what feels good for you 🤍
Dance, walk, stretch, swim, hike… anything that makes you smile.

For me, it’s running by the water 😍
Fresh air, the sound of the waves, and that feeling of freedom… nothing beats it🫶
