Most people donât realize theyâre dysregulated because they still look âfunctional.â
Theyâre still answering emails.
Still showing up to meetings.
Still leading teams.
Still taking care of everyone else.
But internally?
Theyâre exhausted.
Emotionally reactive.
Mentally overloaded.
Disconnected from themselves.
Running on pressure instead of clarity.
This is what I see often in high-performing professionals and leaders:
They donât break down loudly.
They slowly disappear from themselves quietly.
Real leadership is not about suppressing emotions.
Itâs about learning how to regulate under pressure.
Because when a leader is dysregulated:
* communication shifts,
* patience shortens,
* tension spreads,
* and culture feels it.
Self-regulation is no longer optional in leadership.
Itâs necessary.
Tomorrow evening, inside The Becoming Leadership Circleâ˘, weâre having an important conversation on emotional regulation, leadership pressure, and what it actually means to lead without losing yourself in the process.
Rainy Wednesdays are for reflection âď¸
