One of the largest cities in Canada that claims to value diversity has failed to defend the legacy of one of its oldest Black institutions; the Negro Community Center (NCC).

We are so excited to welcome Laetitia who will be showcasing the amazing African tables of kamabybindziik tomorrow at HER Heal, Empower, Reclaim.

Laetitia is the head of Communication for kamabybindziik a business that aims to contribute to the cheerfulness and African originality of your furniture. The idea was born in 2017, as a response to the lack of visibility of our continent in the furniture industry. As a result of looking for an original coffee table for around 100 $ CAD and being tired of seeing only rectangular and ordinary tables, the founder decided to design these tables, shaped like Africa. in Spring 2019, kamabybindziik was launched, K**a taking its roots in the KMT hieroglyph (denoting the black earth) or in other words "Africa".

The goal is to offer practical and aesthetically pleasing work through crafted pieces designed with care and precision to please your guests through their passage in your living room.

Don’t miss out on the opportunity to network with amazing black women-owned businesses in Montreal on November 10th! Ticket link in bio…
