"I am not what has happened to me. I am what I choose to become."

Your past doesn't define you, the abuse doesn't define you, and the trauma doesn't define you.

What defines you is what you do next. The choices you make. The boundaries you set. The life you build for yourself.

You are not broken. You are not damaged beyond repair. You are not your story of survival - though your survival is powerful.

You are becoming. Every single day, you get to choose who that person is. And that person deserves safety, respect, and a beautiful future.

💛 Complimentary Sleep Support Package 💛

As a Registered Social Worker, Certified Pediatric Sleep Consultant, and mom of two little ones, I know how challenging sleep deprivation can be for the entire family.

This month, I am offering one family a complimentary Sleep Support Package through Hush & Bloom Sleep Consulting.

This package includes:

✨ A comprehensive sleep assessment
✨ A personalized sleep plan tailored to your child's unique needs and your family's goals
✨ Two weeks of ongoing support and guidance
✨ Troubleshooting and plan adjustments as needed
✨ Evidence-informed, responsive, and family-centered recommendations
✨ A judgment-free space to ask questions and receive support throughout the process

This opportunity is intended for a family who would benefit from professional sleep support but may be facing financial barriers to accessing services at this time.

If you would like to be considered, or would like to nominate a family who may benefit, please send me a private message. All inquiries will be treated with compassion, respect, and confidentiality.

Because every family deserves support, and every parent deserves the opportunity to get the rest they need. 💛

✨ When Is Sleep “Normal” — And When Is It Time to Seek Support? ✨

As parents, it can be hard to know what’s developmentally normal and what may need extra support when it comes to sleep. 💛

Some sleep struggles ARE normal:

✔️ Short-term sleep regressions
✔️ Occasional night wakings
✔️ Needing support during illness, teething, or developmental leaps
✔️ Early morning wakes once in a while
✔️ Contact naps in the newborn stage

Ongoing sleep challenges that leave your child or your family exhausted may be a sign it’s time for support.

🚩 It may be time to seek sleep support if:

• Your baby wakes every 1–2 hours consistently beyond the newborn stage
• Naps are extremely short or difficult every day
• Bedtime takes over an hour regularly
• Your child relies on extensive support to fall asleep every time
• Sleep struggles are impacting your mental health, relationship, or daily functioning
• You feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure what to try next
• Your child seems chronically overtired or irritable

💤 Sleep support does NOT mean “cry it out” or forcing independence before your child is ready.
Holistic sleep support looks at your child’s temperament, development, attachment, routines, feeding, and your parenting goals.

You don’t have to struggle through exhaustion alone. Support can help make sleep feel more manageable and sustainable for the whole family. 🤍
