🎒✏️ BACK TO SCHOOL! ✏️🎒

Wishing all of our kiddos an amazing first day back at school! 💚 We hope this year is full of new friendships, lots of learning and plenty of fun.

With everyone back together, it’s also a good time to get into a few simple habits that can help reduce the chance of bringing home some unwanted little visitors. 🪮

✨ Back-to-School Lice Prevention Tips:
• Keep long hair tied up — braids, buns and ponytails are great!
• Use a hair product containing a small amount of tea tree oil if it’s suitable for your child.
• Remind kiddos not to share hats, brushes, hair accessories or helmets.
• Try to limit hair-to-hair contact (we know… telling kids not to hug their friends is easier said than done! 😂).
• Make Sunday night head checks part of your weekly routine. Catching lice early can make a HUGE difference!

And remember — lice have nothing to do with cleanliness. They simply love an opportunity to move from one head to another. 💚

Hi, I’m Whitney! 👋 I’m a Registered Practical Nurse of 10 years, a mom, a Disney lover, a DCC enthusiast (if you know, you know 😉), and someone who would happily spend all day lounging on a beach. ☀️🏖️

But Nit Pickers Co. started because of something much less glamorous… lice. 😂

When my daughter got lice, I realized just how difficult it was to find someone in our area who could actually help. I remember thinking, there has to be a need for this in our community.

So, I took that little idea and ran with it. 🪮

Since then, I’ve had the privilege of helping over 300 families navigate the absolute chaos that comes with lice. What started as me, a comb, and a whole lot of determination has grown into a team of 4 amazing employees!

Today, Nit Pickers Co. proudly serves families from Brockville to Port Hope. 💕

⭐ Product Recommendation from a Lice Removal Specialist ⭐

If there’s one tool I recommend to anyone dealing with lice at home, it’s the Terminator Lice Comb.

After trying countless combs over the years, this is the one I consistently trust. It makes my job so much easier and can cut combing time nearly in half because it actually grabs both lice and nits effectively.
