Team 2026!

Sarah Shaw is a licensed Critical Care Paramedic with over 20 years of experience in British Columbia. She has worked as a Paramedic Supervisor, Community Paramedic and Dispatcher, and is currently working as an Advanced Care Paramedic in New Westminster.
Sarah also enjoys practicing medicine in various humanitarian and tactical roles across the globe and has trained with and learned from some of the world’s best medical teams.
On a day off you’ll most likely find her out of country, but at home she can usually be found chasing her short-legged bestie, Penny the Corgi.
Sarah is pumped to be headed to the Rallye Rejvitz this year with a team of amazing and supportive women! ❤️💪

Team 2026!

Sarah Paget is an Advanced Care Paramedic based out of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, where she was born and raised before moving to her current home in New Westminster with her husband Kevin and fur baby Hank. She has worked as a paramedic for BC Emergency Health Services for 10 years, first as an Emergency Medical Responder in Northern BC, then as a Primary Care Paramedic in the Downtown East Side of Vancouver. Sarah then pursued further paramedical education in 2019, graduating from the JIBC with her diploma of Advanced Care Paramedicine having completed her practicum during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sarah loves to travel and challenge herself physically and mentally, and has competed in Rugby 7s in two prior World Police & Fire games, winning a Silver Medal in 2023. She is so excited to learn from and compete with EMS crew from around the world in these upcoming games!

Magda discovered her passion for paramedicine early in life, treating her grandfather’s cuts with bandages on the small farm in Poland where she was born and raised. In 2010 she graduated from the Emergency Medical Care program at Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, before moving across the globe to Canada.

She worked in several rural paramedic stations in Manitoba before moving to Vancouver Island in 2017, where she completed the Advanced Care Paramedic program. She currently works as an ACP in Langley, British Columbia.

Outside of work, Magda plays volleyball, enjoys the outdoors of beautiful BC, and loves gathering friends around good food and music. She has a special love for her cat Kostek and her plants.

At Rallye Rejvíz, she brings the energy and smiles—while the rest of the team handles the brains and logistics.

Kelly Thompson has been a paramedic in British Columbia for nearly a decade, working in both rural and urban communities throughout the province of British Columbia. Her experience in diverse practice environments has shaped a strong foundation in prehospital care and teamwork.
Outside of work, Kelly is an avid outdoorswoman who enjoys cycling, skiing, paddling, and spending time with her horses. A lifelong athlete, she has competed internationally as a water polo player and continues to enjoy water sports whenever she can.
Kelly brings her passion for teamwork, problem-solving, and the outdoors to the challenges of Rallye Rejvíz.
