A year ago, I was fresh out of the Stretch to Win course for Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST).
I was excited to help people feel better in their bodies.
I was hopeful that I could help people find calm, and space in their days.
And I was ready to share something I had come to believe in so deeply: that taking care of ourselves doesn’t always have to mean doing more. Sometimes, it means slowing down, letting go, and allowing ourselves to simply be.
Over this first year, I’ve had the privilege of working with so many different bodies, hearing so many different stories, and witnessing what can happen when we give ourselves permission to pause.
I’ve learned that stretching isn’t just about flexibility. It’s about creating space, easing tension, reconnecting with your body, and giving yourself a moment where you don’t have to be anything for anyone else.
And while I set out to help others, this first year has taught me so much, too. It’s reminded me why this work matters, and how meaningful it is to be part of someone’s journey toward feeling a little lighter, a little calmer, and a little more at home in their body.
So, as I reflect on this first year, I just want to say thank you. To everyone who has booked a session, trusted me with their body, shared their experience, or supported this little business along the way. You are a part of why I’m here, and I’m so grateful. 🤍
If you’ve been thinking about trying FST, or if your body has been asking you to slow down and give it a little care, I’d love to welcome you to the table.
Let’s make a little space for you.
