Your body isn’t in chaos because you need coffee.
A lot of women in midlife are running on stress hormones, blood sugar crashes, bad sleep, overwhelm… and then wondering why their brain feels foggy by 2pm.
So we reach for another coffee.
And another.
And cross our fingers and hope it’s enough to lift the fog for a bit.
I laugh when I think back 20 years ago- I hated coffee! Couldn’t stand it!
Now it is a religion to me. But I do know stable energy feels very different than stimulated energy so I’m working really hard to make by brain happy without the caffeine.
How is it going? Well, some days I win the battle, other days “the fog” wins the war.
