Here are a couple of new items finished this week . Both are butternut bowls the larger is 17 x 4 inches tall and the smaller is 14 x5.5 inches. Both are finished with tung oil.

This is a recently finished live edge bark on heavily spalted birch bowl approx. 12x11x5.5 inches tall. The finish is tung oil. It is available for sale along with a limited number of other turnings Please contact me if you are interested.

This bowl is approx 15.5 inches diameter and nearly 5 inches deep. This has been donated to the Bristol Fire Department as an auction item for the annual Fireman's Ball on September 6th. Tickets are available from members of the Fire Department for only $5 (Features live band and a substantial "lunch")

The auction items end up being exceptional value.

Come out, have fun and help support your fire department.

For all the Ottawa folks, I'll be at Lee Valley tools doing a turning demo on Friday, Aug 15th from 9 am til around 4:30 pm. I'll also have a few items for sale as well. If you find yourself in the area stop by!

I'll be at Marché Bristol Market on Saturday the16th at the pier at Norway Bay Quebec.10 am until 2 pm. Due to family commitments this will probably be my last market of 2025.

Marché Bristol Market is as usual on Saturday from 10 am until 2 pm at the beach by the pier in Norway Bay.

For a change this week I have smaller items. These are small bowls approx 3 x 1.25 ideal in the kitchen as pinch bowls or on a night stand for jewelry.

No two of these could be considered twins. They are all slightly different. Think siblings instead.
