In case you missed it, there have been some updates that were implemented on May 1, 2026 re: insurance benefits. If you are an IFHP beneficiary (as many Veterans are), you will be required to pay a $4 co-pay on medications (new and refills) and 30% for allied health services.
This can mean one of many possible things for Veterans. For example, it could: result in financial drain as therapy can be pricy (especially if you are being seen on a regular basis); lead to reduced motivation/ momentum around the work you're doing if appointments are spaced out more; feel like another barrier in place to access help; and or prolonged suffering if access to help feels that much further away.
At Valor Care, support through our physicians remain unaffected. You need not worry about financial strain as services are fully covered for assessments which include diagnostic clarification, medication review, and assistance with documentation/ forms.
It is one less thing to have to worry about...
