I’m still engaging with your content because I love you and I know we’re all hustling but this is my observation and opinion

The last few events I’ve been to have been really eye opening. No one is *present*, everyone is just shooting content the entire time and not actually enjoying the moment. You’d think, after seeing their reel that they post, that they had the BEST TIME. But in reality you were in a relationship with your phone the entire time you were out. No deep conversations or engagement. It just isn’t my jam.

Is this why my page isn’t growing? Likely a factor. But I care more about the impact I make in real life. I care about the deep conversations l, I care to know YOU.

Am I alone in these thoughts? Do I just need to get with the times?

No one is doing everything all the time. And you shouldn’t either! Take the pressure off and enjoy life!!!!

1. Adjust nap time intentionally (short term) so produce more sleep drive for bedtime

2. If feeds are drowsy or sleepy (blanking out into space, heavy eyelids) it will make bedtime challenging with a LOT of tears. This is due to the release of sleep pressure during feeding. It is common during a mental leap and milestone reach!

3. BONUS piece of advice : spend longer time with bedtime routine really focusing on intention, connection and quiet play together without distraction!

First run post surgery! I’ll use the word run lightly, as it was a lot of walking. I got so down on myself… it was so challenging, my legs felt like bricks, and I felt so mad that I’ve lost my endurance so much in the last 9-10 weeks. I started to feel lighter between 3-4km and that encouraged me.. yet still I felt defeated.

Then I remembered- I got out there. Better than doing nothing. I showed up for myself and gave myself grace and also recognized how beautiful it was to be hearing the birds, the music in my ears, the sun on my body, and that I was working and able to move! What a gift! It’s progress!!

It’s easy to get down on yourself, so if you’re feeling a similar way.. don’t give up. Keep going and honour your body where it’s at 🫶 every win is still a WIN!

How should I approach my next run? Jog intervals? Try to hold a slow pace for longer? Tell me your thoughts!!! 💭
