We’re proud to welcome Capital Rainbow Refuge as a Community Sponsor of CLIMAX 2026.

Founded in 2010, Capital Rainbow Refuge is a registered charity supporting and sponsoring LGBTQI+ refugees and newcomers as they build new lives in Eastern Ontario.

Through volunteer-led sponsor groups, advocacy, community building, and outreach, their work helps LGBTQI+ refugees not only arrive safely, but find connection, belonging, and community.

We’re excited to welcome Haley Robinson (Haley Robinson) to CLIMAX!

Haley is a Cree/Filipinx Two-Spirit drag and burlesque artist, actor, and advocate based in Ottawa. Through their work and lived experience, Haley creates space for conversations around identity, culture, community, and sexual health, and is a proud ambassador for SEXFLUENT❣️

🌈 Haley will join our Exploring S*xual Orientations & Identities mini panel for an honest conversation about discovering, questioning, expressing, and embracing s*xuality and identity across different stages of life and lived experiences.

✨ They’ll also join our Intersectional S*x mini panel, exploring how culture, race, gender, religion, disability, class, body politics, and other intersecting identities can shape intimacy, pleasure, safety, visibility, and s*xual expression.

Both sessions are add-on mini panels with limited seating and must be added to your ticket at checkout.

We’re excited to welcome Jason Taylor (Taylored Therapy Psychotherapy Clinic) to CLIMAX!

Jason (he/him), PhD, is a Doctoral-Level Registered Psychotherapist, S3x and Relationship Therapist, and S3x Educator who helps individuals and couples strengthen their sexual and romantic connections.

💔 Jason will join our Infidelity & Repair mini panel, exploring the impact of infidelity and what repair, rebuilding, or redefining a relationship can look like. This is an add-on experience and must be added at checkout.

Hi, we’re Natalia & Maddy 👋 We came to S3x education from very different places, but found ourselves with the same calling - to make conversations about s*x, pleasure and relationships more open, accessible & shame-free.

After years of collaborating on s*x-positive events in Ottawa, we kept coming back to the same question: where does the average adult go to learn about S3x through their lifetime?

Our questions don’t stop at 18. Our bodies, relationships, desires and identities continue to evolve throughout our lives - and we deserve spaces to keep learning alongside them.

That’s why we created CLIMAX 🧡

A place to get curious, ask questions, learn from incredible educators and connect with a community that believes s*x & intimacy deserves a seat at the wellness table.

We’re thrilled to welcome Maria Cheung (Maria Cheung BSc, MPH, ABS | Somatic Sexologist & Tibetan Ta**ra) back to CLIMAX this year!

Maria (she/her) is a q***r Chinese-Canadian somatic pleasure coach, facilitator, speaker, and registered Clinical S3xologist with over 15 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Blending Western and Eastern approaches, her work explores pleasure, embodiment, healing & deeper connection through trauma-informed and psycho-somatic practices.

This year, you can catch Maria on two add-on mini panels:

🍄 S3x & Psychedelics — exploring the intersections of psychedelics & pleasure, including important conversations around consent, safety, vulnerability, and altered states.

💞 Alternative Relationship Styles — exploring ways of building relationships outside traditional monogamy, with conversations around communication, boundaries, jealousy, and creating connections that align with your values.

We’re exploring the possibility of a CLIMAX Retreat in February or March 2027, and before we start making plans, we want to hear from our community.
