Through self awareness and compassion we can become more loving and kind to ourselves. Every one of us has made poor choices, each of us has hurt others, but it is how you move forward that matters.

Choose to forgive yourself. Use hindsight as a tool to see how far you have walked on your healing path. You are not serving anyone by carrying this emotional baggage. Your pain is not going anywhere until you consciously choose to feel it and work through it.

No amount of positive affirmations is going to help you if you don’t address what you are running from. We cannot hide behind a mask of love and light. We need to get down in the dirt and actually deal with our issues.

Take the mask off, allow your authentic self to emerge and do what it takes to bring yourself forward. Cry, scream, dance, practice yoga, just move the energy out of your body and allow yourself to heal. ✨

Have you noticed how it sometimes feels like no amount of sleep can make you feel rested? Yet quietly sitting by water, meditating for a few minutes or taking child’s pose can help you feel renewed.

It is because there is a difference between sleep and rest. Rest revitalizes us and gives us the energy we need to move forward. ✨

Give yourself the gift of rest today. Sit still long enough to allow spirit to find you. Come OM to yourself. ✨
