Last week WPSHC and Lakeland Long Term Care celebrated Environmental Services Appreciation Week! 🧹✨

Behind every clean room, fresh set of linens, and welcoming health care space is an incredible team making it all happen.

Our EVS team plays a huge role in creating clean, safe and healing environments for our patients, residents, families and staff. From infection prevention and patient comfort to workplace safety, their work touches every part of the care we provide.

While working behind the scenes means their work may not always get the spotlight, their compassion, professionalism, resilience and dedication certainly deserve it!

So, to our amazing laundry and housekeeping teams - thank you! 👏💙 Thank you for the early mornings, busy shifts, attention to detail, and all the ways you help make our facilities feel safe, cared for and ready for the day.

Lakeland Long-Term Care home is a core member of the West Parry Sound Ontario Health Team. They provide their expertise, experience and knowledge in long term and senior care. Together, we are working to improve access to care, reduce gaps in services, and create a more connected health system. This work is part of our shared goal to build a healthier, more equitable West Parry Sound.
