Starting the last week of June, Aquatic Osteopathy is back on Thursdays for those of you who live in Montreal.

An awesome blast-from-the-past night celebrating some amazing accomplishments from leaders in the field of athletics. Congratulations Ron Rappel, Sharon, Pat, Pat and Ron.

It was amazing being in the room with so may fellow AT’s that I hadn’t seen in years (over a decade for most 😳).
Students I taught,
colleagues I worked with,
friends I graduated with,
teachers I learned from
and mentors who helped shape my career.

It renewed my pride in being a Con U grad and was a great reminder of how much I love the Athletic Therapy profession and the people in it.

Best part? My bud Tracy Griffiths was my non-date date!

Within our first few minutes in the car we were cry laughing the way we always do when we’re together!

Everyone should have a friendship like ours. We’ve done so much together…

Lifeguard/swimmer,
study buddies,
anatomy charades co-creators, roommates,
‘No’s all around!’,
Becket,
Baby belugas,
co-parents,
you-skipped-the-fluff-moments, traffic dance choreographers, bubble experiment co-creators, thesieseses partners,
bridesmaids,
god mothers…I could go on and on. Most of this won’t mean anything to anyone but us but IYKYK.

✨It can and should be playful!

Singing, dancing, shaking, gardening, creating — all ways your nervous system moves toward balance.

Nervous system care is about expressing what needs to be expressed.
Calming practices can be regulation.
Play, movement, and laughter are regulation too.

It's about getting to know your own nervous system
so you can meet the demands of the moment.
