Sometimes it’s the little moments that mean the most. 💙🌳

Xyle and I have been making the most of the time between our buses with quick strolls in the park. 🚶🏾‍♀️♿️🍃 Nothing fancy, just fresh air, sunshine, smiles, and quality time together.

Life doesn’t always give us long, planned-out moments… so we’re learning to treasure the little ones. 🥹💙 Every walk, every smile, every moment together matters. 🌍✨

It’s not always a bed of roses.

These last few days have had me going up and down… up and down. Today definitely felt like a crying day. 😔

I’ve been dealing with transportation to get Xyle to and from school, new medication, a doctor’s visit that became frustrating…sigh, and then being told that his first day of school would be postponed—which was a hard one for me. Then, thankfully, things changed again and he was able to go to school on the very first day after all. ❤️

We still don’t have transportation sorted out as yet, but I’m praying that everything works out soon. 🙏🏽

Someone told me today that not everyone understands that being a parent to a child with special needs can bring its own additional challenges. That is so true. Some days are heavier than others, and today was one of those days.

But through it all… it is well. ❤️🙏🏽

Here’s a little glimpse into Xyle’s special day. 🎉🎁🎂From breakfast (he didn’t like his fruit pouch, it was a new flavor, and he also had a share of mom’s food 😄), to opening his gift (he lovvvveeesss musical instruments) and finally enjoying his birthday cake—every moment was special.

Thank you for all the greetings as well. They were appreciated and loved 🥰
