Meet Cheryl Koressel, RCC, RMFT

Cheryl Koressel is a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) and Registered Marriage and Family Counsellor (RMFT) with over 10 years of experience supporting children, parents, and families. She specializes in working with families navigating parenting challenges, children’s behavioural concerns, and ADHD, helping parents better understand their child’s needs while developing practical strategies that support positive change at home.

Cheryl brings a warm, supportive, and practical approach to counselling, combining education, guidance, and effective tools to help families navigate challenges and create meaningful change. Lakeside Clinical Counselling offers drinks, snacks, and cozy welcoming space for children and families.

Cheryl is currently accepting new clients in downtown Kelowna and offers free consultations to help families determine if she is the right fit. Direct billing is available for most extended health benefit plans.

We’re so excited to share that Neelu Toor, RCC is currently accepting a few new clients!

Neelu is a full-time school counsellor who specializes in working with children and youth, with particular experience supporting:

• Autism
• Anxiety
• Emotional regulation
• School-related challenges

Her approach is warm, playful, and practical, integrating play-based therapy and CBT strategies to help kids feel understood, build confidence, and develop real-life coping tools.

Bryn is a master’s-level intern completing her Master of Clinical Counselling at Yorkville University, offering affordable, compassionate support with a focus on sports performance and mental wellness. Using a strengths-based approach, Bryn helps athletes and active individuals build confidence, manage pressure, and perform at their best- both in sport and in life. Free & Low-Cost Counselling Program at Lakeside Clinical Counselling

We’re excited to introduce our free and low-cost counselling program at Lakeside Clinical Counselling, offering accessible support for adults experiencing burnout, anxiety, addiction recovery, relationship challenges, and major life transitions.

Sessions are available with Caroline Tucker, a graduate-level counsellor completing her Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology and working under supervision as she completes her clinical hours toward RCC designation. Caroline brings a warm, practical, and deeply compassionate approach shaped by both advanced training and lived experience.
