Meet Miracle Child Addie from, Yorkton, Sask. 💜 At nine years old, her family had concerns when they noticed physical changes on the right side of her back. Her parents’ minds were filled with endless questions.

After seeing a specialist at Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital, Addie was diagnosed with scoliosis, but doctors felt there was something more. An MRI discovered a Chiari malformation that had caused a fluid-filled pocket in her spine, risking permanent spinal cord damage.

Though her parents hoped to avoid major surgery, to maximize her quality of life, Addie required decompression surgery and later a spinal fusion surgery.

Today, Addie is thriving. While she will always have scoliosis, she no longer needs a brace, and her spine is straight. She is still recovering with some physical limitations, but her vibrant personality continues to shine.

In memory of his Grandpa Joe, Paxton donated over $5,600 to Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital Foundation. 💜

Since Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital opened its doors, Paxton has undergone eight surgeries within its walls. Through every challenge, his Grandpa Joe, was one of his biggest supporters. He visited Paxton often, offering love, encouragement and the reminder that Paxton was the strongest boy he knew.

Because JPCH has been such an important part of Paxton’s journey, it was an easy decision for their family to choose the hospital for memorial donations in Grandpa Joe’s honour.

“It is a meaningful way to celebrate his life, kindness and unwavering support while helping other children and families receive the same exceptional care that has meant so much to us. Grandpa Joe’s legacy of love and strength will continue to make a difference in the lives of others,” said Paxton’s mom, Connie.

Meet Miracle Child Evee, from, Saskatoon, Sask. 💜 Making her entrance into the world at just 23 weeks and four days gestation, weighing just 1.3 pounds, she was a fighter from the very start.

Evee’s mom, Lauren, was told by doctors that she would most likely miscarry, after being rushed to JPCH due to a hemorrhage. On May 1, 2022, Evee was born without a heartbeat, but her medical team was able to revive her, increasing her chance of survival from zero to 50 percent.

Due to severe complications, there were moments where she almost lost her life numerous times. Her 130-day NICU stay included diagnoses of a grade 4 brain bleed, a spontaneous intestinal perforation, chronic lung disease and retinopathy of prematurity. In total, she has endured a dozen blood and platelet transfusions, two major surgeries, six PICC line insertions and three intubations. Against all odds, at just four months old, Evee was able to go home.

Today, she is four-years-old and still facing challenges, but her resilient spirit continues to shine through. From a tiny baby given zero chance of survival to a thriving girl dancing to K-pop, Evee’s story is a powerful reminder of the incredible resilience of children.

Over the summer, Andrew Sheret Limited hosted a BBQ fundraiser event for JPCHF, raising over $5,400!

Sutherland Automotive Speedway hosted their annual “Race for the Kids” night in support of JPCHF, where they raised over $4,000! Thank you, Sutherland Automotive, for hosting ambassador families for a night filled with racing and fun.

Meet Miracle Child Emmett from, Swift Current, Sask. 💜 In February 2025, what began as an innocent pillow fight between brothers quickly spiralled into a fight for his life, uncovering a rare brain tumour.

Following the pillow fight, Emmett complained of a sore eye. Within hours he became unresponsive and was rushed to the local hospital. He was then transported by the Saskatchewan Pediatric Transport Team to Jim Pattison Children’s Hospital.

Neurosurgeons discovered a massive tumour in Emmett’s temporal lobe was hemorrhaging, due to the pillow fight. He was then diagnosed with grade 2 Pleomorphic Xanthoastrocytoma (PXA). He has since undergone two high-risk surgeries to remove as much of the tumour as possible and is receiving targeted treatment. He will remain on this treatment plan for up to two and half years.

Starting today, your morning coffee comes with an extra dose of comfort! For every hot beverage purchased at McDonald's Canada locations in Saskatoon, Warman and Martensville, a portion of the proceeds will go towards this year's Jim Pattison Children's Hospital Radiothon, supporting Saskatchewan kids and moms-to-be receiving care at JPCH.

In every restaurant, you will see Emmett, a JPCHF ambassador from Saskatoon, Sask. An outgoing boy who loves cows and music, Emmett showed speech delays at age one and began speech therapy at 18 months. By three and a half years old, he still had developmental differences and no sense of danger, prompting genetic testing.

In October 2023, Emmett was diagnosed with Sanfilippo Syndrome Type A, a rare terminal genetic disorder. “It was heartbreaking,” said Stephanie, Emmett’s mom. “It was a whirlwind of doctor appointments, palliative care and tests, all while trying to process what that meant for Emmett.”

Despite the challenges, his family chooses to live each day focusing on the present. “Right now, we concentrate on love, hope and the joy of each day,” shared Stephanie. “Emmett and his sister deserve a childhood filled with happiness, and we won’t let this diagnosis take that away.”

The campaign runs until November 4th, 2026.
