Today, April 7, is the 23rd annual national Oncology Nursing Day (OND). While today is set aside to recognize oncology nurses across the country, we want to acknowledge the care, expertise, leadership, and compassion that you bring to your workplaces every single day.

The theme for OND this year is Stronger Together: Advancing Oncology Nursing Through Collaboration and Innovation. What an uplifting theme showcasing the importance of connection and teamwork, and how we can drive success working together. We encourage you to take some time today to reflect on the theme of OND this year and what it means for you and your nursing practice.

In the spirit of togetherness centering this year’s theme, we look forward to you joining us in person for our next local chapter event. Please save the date for May 21 for an in-person yoga wellness event in Saskatoon. More details to follow.

Happy Oncology Nurses Day to all!
