Exciting news! 🍀

I have officially moved my practice from Summit Sports + Health to Clover Health & Wellness in Saskatoon, which will open on August 4, 2026.

As of July 1, 2026, our new clinic phone number is 306-912-2500. Please use this number to contact reception during regular business hours from Monday-Thursday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM (excluding statutory holidays).

Please continue to check the Pomelo Home page regularly, as we will be posting important updates throughout our transition, including our upcoming new website and other clinic information.

I am excited to welcome patients to the new location, which will open on August 4, 2026. All existing patients under my care will be transferred to Clover Health & Wellness unless they choose otherwise. Please note, I am not currently accepting patients for my waitlist.

During the transition period, I am offering *telephone appointments only* from July 2–16, 2026, for concerns that do not require a physical exam. In-person appointments will not be available during this time. From July 17-August 3, Brittany & I will be away to set up the new clinic.

Online booking for August will open online on August 1, with in-person appointments starting at the new location on August 4.

If your concern requires a physical assessment or there are no more appointment times before the new clinic opens, please go to your nearest walk-in clinic, see your pharmacist, or use a virtual service such as GoToDoctor or MyTELUS Health.

Thank you for your patience, understanding, and support during this exciting transition. Brittany & I look forward to continuing to care for you at Clover Health & Wellness.

Exciting Announcement!

I am thrilled to share that, starting April 1st, 2026, private primary care nurse practitioners will officially be covered under every provincial healthcare system! This long-awaited recognition of nurse practitioners as primary care providers marks a significant milestone in improving access to quality healthcare across the country.

In just less than a year and a half, patients will be able to access the care they need without additional fees.

Please note that until April 1st, 2026, current patients will continue to be responsible for the fee-for-service structure. I appreciate your understanding and continued support during this transition.

Thank you for trusting nurse practitioners with your healthcare, and we look forward to offering even more accessible care in the near future!

Finding a provider that takes their time to hear your concerns can be tough. This is especially true if your provider is restricted by appointment time limits or you can’t call and request that urgent questions or concerns be passed on and addressed in a timely manner.

A major issue I see in primary care is the frustration of patients who do not feel heard. Listening to the patient is a top priority of mine. The time frame you book is for us to dive into concerns that need to be addressed to improve your quality of life. There is no “one concern only” statement at the beginning of appointments. There is no two to three week delay in getting an appointment. There is no invalidation of your long term symptoms that you find important to figure out, even if your bloodwork comes back normal. Your concerns will not fall silent if you call the clinic needing an urgent call back for mental health matters or important medication refills.

Depending on the length of the appointment booked, we can discuss multiple concerns and deal with them in a timely manner. If you have a pressing concern that requires me to touch base with you sooner rather than later, I will contact you as soon as possible.

Your time is worthwhile and your health is important. Healthcare shouldn’t be as structured and difficult to access.

Book your meet & greet today. I’m here to listen. ♡
