My art show at Hues Art Supply went up today and will be up until the end of the month!

There will be a reception at Hues from 2-4pm on April 5th, but the gallery is open for viewing all the days the store is open all month.

Had such an amazing time at the Plein Air Saskatchewan Paint-Out at Gem Lakes this past weekend. Wonderful views, fun hikes, and lovely people.

I tried out oils en plein air this time around and it was a great learning experience! There are a few things I'll change next time - packing a bit lighter, for one - but all in all I think it went really well, and I'm happy with the results.

(Even got some reference photos for some future bird paintings 👀)
