T’was the night before the Radiothon
And all through the town
Everyone was wondering
What’s going down?

The Seaforth Radiothon is happening tomorrow at the Seaforth Legion from 10 - 2!!

BBQ hot dogs and sausages available from 11:30am - 1:00pm by donation

Some of our Seaforth Centenaires will be assisting with the grill - wearing their jerseys, available for photo ops and autographs. Food and seating in the Legion

The Seaforth Fire Department will have a Firetruck in Legion parking lot from 10 - noon!!

Homemade cupcakes and slab cake - complimentary

Tim Horton’s coffee available - complimentary

Guess the price of the equipment for the emergency room refresh quiz available for people interested

Foundation members will be taking donations - cash, cheque, credit card

Donors can also phone the CKNX Radiothon or text

The Radiothon is off to a great start!

Thank you so much to Axiom Mutual Insurance Company for their donation towards the 2026 Radiothon. This donation directly supports the Seaforth Community Hospital, providing funds for vital upgrades to our emergency department…a place most people in our community have visited once or twice.

Did you know? This year marks the 25th Annual CKNX Healthcare Heroes Radiothon!

For a quarter of a century, this Radiothon has brought communities across Midwestern Ontario together to support their local hospitals.

On Saturday, October 17, we will join 8 other hospital foundations in this incredible celebration of care close to home.

📍 Join us at our BBQ at the Seaforth Legion from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
📻 Tune in on CKNX, AM920 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Together, we can make a difference and reach our goal of $40,000 for upgrades to the Emergency Department!

Each of the nine Hospital Foundations participating in the 25th Annual CKNX Health Cares Heroes Radiothon has selected a fundraising goal in support of their local hospital. Help your local hospital reach their goal this October. If everyone gives a little, we all gain a lot! 📻🏥❤

Once again the Brussels Optimist Club has stepped up in a big way to benefit our community!

The Seaforth Community Hospital Foundation is incredibly grateful to be included in the $32,000 donation that was split equally between Seaforth, Clinton, Wingham and Listowel hospitals; each receiving $8000. This donation was made possible by the success of their spring dinner and auction.

Over the years, the Brussels Optimist Club has been highly active in running community-building events, the proceeds of which have touched the lives of nearly every member of their extended community through donations to local healthcare, youth sports and community projects.

From one volunteer organization to another, we sincerely thank you for your support! 💪💕
